The title of my Hip-Hop/Rap magazine is called "Guap Magazine " and I shall be addressing it as such in future blog posts.

Magazine Idea

For my Magazine one part of it could be how much modern rappers incomes are. I could do 10 rappers ranging from 1-10. It will be listed and have a picture of the rap artist right next to it.
For Example: (Examples are not accurate I am just showing the lay out of this concept.)

Magazine Demographic

In this research on Magazine Demographic it was found that 78% of readers are Male and 22% of the readers are Females. This information will be valuable with developing my magazine. Although this information is from 2008 so this could change.

Market Research: Chosen Genre

For my project my teammate and I have decided to choose the genre rap. With this rap/hip hop magazine we will have a broader audience because of the genre. This genre appeals to a lot of people because everyone listens to music and rap is a popular genre. My partner and I will do our upmost best to make a suitable magazine that meets up to Cambridge requirements. Another reason why I have chosen rap magazine as my genre is because I am the most familiar with this genre and I feel like I would be able to perform the best making this genre with my partner.

In this post I am researching the meaning behind magazine covers.

Depending on the topic Magazine Covers can have a variety of meanings and covers. They can convey the meaning by the color and the person on the article. A good example would be this article.

In this article it is to portrays happiness. You can tell by the model Zendaya smiling at the camera and the words "Smile,Beauty, and Style." This article also portrays happiness by the color blue. Both Zendaya dress and the sky is the color blue symbolizing peace and pleasure. From the words "Resolution and New Year" This article is about Fashion to kick off the new year. All in all used to market the new "Style" and to make the reader feel inspired and content about themselves.
